Delivery Driver/Warehouse

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations around New York while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle various tasks related to shipping and receiving. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
CDL License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling of items.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices or packing lists.
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues during deliveries.
• Engage in picking and packing orders accurately for delivery.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Handle heavy lifting of products as required, maintaining proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
• Forklift certified is not needed but proffered

Skills

• Strong ability to load and unload goods efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Experience in fabricating packaging materials is a plus.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting vehicle issues during deliveries.
• Ability to perform picking and packing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Previous experience working under a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role is desirable.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed, demonstrating physical stamina.
