Delivery Driver/Warehouse Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver/Warehouse Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting Durable Medical Equipment to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to customer service, excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Navigate assigned routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
• Load and unload products into the warehouse and patient's homes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and patients/customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Handle heavy lifting of packages as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Maintaining the warehouse with exceptional organizational skills.
• Maintain accurate and current inventory records through regular tracking and reconciliation.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred.
• Experience in customer service interactions.
• Experience in a Durable Medical Equipment company is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for maintaining accurate records.
