Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

AR Chambers is a construction, decorative concrete and restoration supply company located in Pittsburgh. Family owned and operated since 1945. We are currently looking for a daylight Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker. BONUS OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to customers on time

 Move materials from one warehouse to another

 Do occasional vendor material pick up

 Interact with customers in a professional manner

 Drive in inclement weather, such as light snow and rain

 Maintain paper logs to track routes and deliveries

 Get materials to customers in a timely fashion

 Load and unload materials safely and securely

 Obtain signatures on delivery and pick-ups

 When not on deliveries, the driver will assist warehouse personnel in all functions and duties of the warehouse

COMPETENCIES:

 Minimum of one year driving experience

 Ability to drive a forklift or be forklift trained

 Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience

 Strength to lift up to 51+ pounds plus bending and twisting

 Understand road driving regulations for trucks

 Work well independently

 Open and transparent communication

 Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps

 Maintain neat appearance, always remain courteous and service-minded in dealing with customers

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

HOURS: Monday - Friday shift from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm with lunch and breaks given accordingly.

This is a 40 hour work week.

DEGREE: High school diploma
