Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving and delivery
• Load and unload merchandise using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of goods
• Deliver products directly to customers’ locations, providing friendly and professional customer service throughout each interaction
• Manage route schedules efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining accuracy in order fulfillment
• Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory checks, manual lifting of heavy items, moving stock within the facility, and organizing storage areas
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery receipts, and warehouse records for accountability and reporting purposes

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience using box trucks or similar vehicles
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) or <PERSON> driver certification is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor safely; experience with moving large or bulky items is preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification in forklift operation is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously
• Comfortable working in physically demanding environments involving loading, unloading, and moving goods
• Prior experience working in a warehouse setting or with commercial driving responsibilities will set you apart
