Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations following designated routes.
• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of all items.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by communicating professionally and addressing customer needs.
• Assist in warehouse duties such as organizing inventory, moving stock, and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Verify delivery paperwork, obtain signatures, and document all delivery activities accurately.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving to ensure safe transportation of goods.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery driver experience with a proven track record in route driving and customer service.
• Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, and inventory management.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles safely (certification is a plus).
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving items throughout the workday.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and warehouse operations.
