Delivery Helper

Helper is responsible for day to day labor work regarding lifting, placing, stacking and storing items from one place to another either within the office premises or at the customer site. The helper usually performs laborious work by offloading goods from incoming shipments into the warehouse, loading them onto the delivery trucks and carrying them to the customer location.

3. Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and offloading items at the warehouse and worksites, ensuring safe handling of materials.
• Support retail deliveries and assist with the installation of appliances as needed.
• Clean service center and work areas as required to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in the installation of appliances after repair, following instructions from supervisor.
• Provide support in the workshop by helping with tasks such as assembly or repair work.
• Arrange items in the warehouse to optimize space and facilitate easy access.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to contribute to team goals.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with colleagues to achieve team objectives, fostering a supportive and cohesive work environment.

Organizational Responsibilities

• Participate in opportunities to enhance job-specific skills and knowledge, aiding personal and organizational growth.
• Follow governance policies and procedures and assist in ensuring compliance with HR, legal, and risk guidelines.

4. Professional Experience and Educational Qualifications

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of general helper experience. Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.

Educational Qualifications and Certifications

• School Certificate or equivalent.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects safely
