We are seeking an energetic and dependable Delivery & Lumberyard Laborer to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and delivering building materials and lumber to our customers while maintaining a clean and organized yard. Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload building materials, lumber, and other supplies using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
• Deliver products to customers’ locations using box truck, pickup or flatbed vehicles, adhering to route schedules and safety protocols
• Assist customers with loading their purchases into their vehicles, providing friendly and professional customer service
• Maintain an organized lumberyard by stacking materials properly and ensuring clear pathways for safety and efficiency
• Load and unload incoming shipments from trucks, verifying inventory accuracy and reporting discrepancies
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks responsibly, following all safety guidelines
• Support warehouse activities including moving stock within the yard as needed

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with lumberyards is preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus
• Experience operating box trucks or flatbeds or similar delivery vehicles with manual transmission
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the day
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards assisting customers
• Knowledge of load & unload procedures, route driving, and safety protocols for heavy equipment operation
• Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, and basic warehouse tools is desirable
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
