Role: On-Site Delivery Manager (SSK & SBD Project)

1. Objective
The On-Site Delivery Manager will be responsible for end-to-end coordination and execution of the Self-Service Check-in Kiosk (SSK) and Self Baggage Drop (SBD) implementation at airport level, ensuring timely delivery, integration, testing, and go-live in line with the project schedule.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. On-Site Project Coordination
-
Act as the single point of contact on-site between Oman Air, vendor(s), airport authorities, and third parties.
-
Coordinate daily activities across all workstreams: kiosks, SBD, BHS, network, power, and civil works.
-
Ensure alignment between design, delivery, and installation activities.
B. Installation & Site Readiness
-
Ensure site readiness (power, data, space, civil works) before equipment arrival.
-
Coordinate installation activities for kiosks and SBD units at MCT and SLL.
-
Monitor compliance with approved layouts and technical specifications.
C. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
-
Manage Elenium and other vendors on-site.
-
Coordinate with:
-
Airport operator (MCT/SLL)
-
BHS provider
-
IT/network teams
-
Security and access control teams
-
Escalate delays, risks, and blockers proactively.
D. Integration Oversight
-
Coordinate SSK application integration with
Sabre DCS
, ensuring readiness of:

Check-in flows (passenger retrieval, seat selection, boarding pass issuance)
-
Baggage tagging and linkage with SBD
-
Ancillary services (if applicable)
-
Validate that required
interfaces, connectivity, and credentials
are available and tested on-site.

Ensure alignment between
Voyager application, kiosk hardware, and Sabre DCS
during testing phases.

Support troubleshooting of
real-time transaction issues
during SIT/UAT and go-live.

Coordinate integration activities with:

BHS/BRS systems
-
Sabre (via central team)
-
Network and infrastructure
-
Ensure all dependencies are met before testing phases.
E. Testing & Acceptance

Support and coordinate:

End-to-end
check-in and baggage drop scenarios

Sabre DCS transaction validation (PNR retrieval, check-in, tag issuance)

Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) readiness (logistics side)

Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

Combined UAT (Kiosk + SBD + Voyager + BHS)

Confirm readiness for
airline operational acceptance
before go-live.
F. Go-Live & Hypercare

Lead on-site readiness for go-live at:

Coordinate operational teams during go-live.

Support hypercare period and issue resolution.

6. Required Profile
-
8+ years of experience in on-site project delivery, preferably in airport or similar operational environments
-
Proven experience with kiosk, SBD, or passenger processing systems
-
Good understanding of check-in flows and airline operations
-
Experience coordinating multiple vendors on-site
-
Exposure to DCS integration (preferably Sabre) and ability to support testing and troubleshooting
-
Familiarity with BHS/baggage systems and airport infrastructure
-
Hands-on, proactive, and able to manage issues on-site in real time
-
Experience in testing (UAT) and go-live support
7. Reporting Line

Reports to: Project Manager / Digital & Airport Systems Lead

Works closely with: IT, Ground Operations, Airport Authority, Vendor teams

Role is execution-focused (not design or strategy).

Must be physically present on-site during installation, testing, and go-live phases.

Flexibility required for extended hours during critical milestones.
