Delivery Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Technician to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with the role.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit.
• Follow established delivery routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and documenting any issues encountered during the route.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization of stock.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Valid driving license
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical activities throughout the day.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is beneficial.
• A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with all transportation regulations.
• NO CRIMINAL RECORD and clean driving record
