Position Overview:

Tennessee Florist Supply, Inc. is currently seeking a Full or part time Employee to join our Knoxville Distribution Team. This is a casual role responsible for delivery of fresh floral products to flower shops throughout E.TN/ SE Kentucky/ W North Carolina. Some order filling required.

Key Responsibilities:

**DELIVERY OF FLOWERS IN CARGO VAN. MUST HAVE ACCEPTABLE DRIVING RECORD.

• Fill cut flower and floral supply orders for customers.

Work efficiently in a warehouse and cooler environment (34°F) utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks, box cutters, and flower cutters.

• Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service and fostering positive relationships.
• Perform physical tasks, including loading, unloading, climbing in and out of the truck, some driving, and handling products weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations.

Schedule:

• Full time, Monday through Friday (with rotational weekends required).
• Part time positions, willing to work with set schedule.
• Start time is 7AM with exception of Tuesday 6:30AM until completion.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 60 pounds.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse and cooler environment (34°F).
• Utilization of equipment such as pallet jacks, box cutters, flower cutters.
• Proficiency in operating a cargo van is required.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification (CDL not required)
• Acceptable driving record (reviewed twice per year)
• Must be 24 or older to meet insurance carrier minimum
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable using maps and GPS for route planning
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
• Dependable, team-oriented, and hardworking
• Must pass pre-employment screenings

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
