Job Summary
The Vehicle Prep Driver is responsible for safely moving vehicles throughout the facility, coordinating vehicle deliveries and pickups, and ensuring completed vehicles are cleaned, inspected, and ready for customer delivery. This position supports the production and service teams by maintaining an organized workflow and presenting a professional final product to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles and customer vehicles as needed.
- Move vehicles between departments, work areas, storage lots, and customer locations.
- Perform final vehicle preparation, including exterior washing, interior cleaning, vacuuming, and removal of debris from completed work.
- Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure cleanliness, appearance, and completion of assigned work.
- Perform basic quality checks and report any damage, missing items, or concerns to supervisors.
- Coordinate vehicle pickups and deliveries while maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and positioning vehicles for production or customer delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle staging area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and vehicle handling policies.
- Communicate effectively with production, service, sales, and customer service teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including vans, trucks, and customer vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded.
- Previous experience in vehicle detailing, delivery driving, automotive, fleet, or manufacturing environments preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
