KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loading and handling product from trucks to warehouse and to customers
• Delivering and installing orders for customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Providing exemplary service during deliveries, set-up, and clean-up
• Maximizing quality and efficiency of service to continuously improve customer satisfaction
• Utilizing proper material handling techniques and equipment to ensure safety and minimize damages
• Communicating regularly with team members and customers
• Examining product for damages
• Completing tasks, reports, and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
• Assisting with various warehouse tasks as needed, including driving a lift truck
• Understanding and maintaining all safe work practices and rules
• Other duties as assigned, essential or otherwise

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:

• Must be able to navigate using maps and follow special instructions
• Heavy lifting required; may need to carry merchandise up stairs
• Must maintain a professional appearance by following Miller Waldrop dress code
• Experience driving a 26-foot box truck preferred
• Ability to safely move up to 50 lbs., and more with a partner
• Ability to maintain heavy physical activity during shift
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, and walk frequently
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor climates
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving history

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to hear and understand speech to interact with others
• Must be able to speak so that others can understand
• Will frequently remain on one’s feet and move about on foot
• Will regularly bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach at or above shoulder level
• Will lift and carry objects up to 150 lbs. or more with assistance; may transport loads up to 200 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
