Delphi Lead Developer

Role Purpose – Delphi Lead Developer

As a Lead Delphi Software Developer, you will be part of a team that builds and maintains our planning application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build windows native applications using Delphi technologies
• Participate in project planning, software design, and DevOps build activities.
• Convert discussed stories into appropriate designs, code, and unit tests.
• Build and maintain DevOps processes that produce all stages of the system.
• Maintain the relevant documentation systems.
• Report progress, challenges, and risks at regular intervals.
• Become a reliable and effective member of the team.

Must Have Skillset:

• 8-12 years of experience in software development, specifically with Delphi.
• Be recognized as a Delphi developer with exposure to Windows subsystems, SQL databases and GIT.
• Have some formal technology training or prior commercial experience
• Demonstrable database skills.
• An understanding of OO and design patterns.
• Be analytical and have excellent problem-solving skills
• Open to learning modern technology/languages and taking advantage of our training budgets.
• Understand modern design patterns and practices.
• Working experience of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).

Good To Have Skillset:

• Microsoft DevOps (dev.azure.com) skills. Fashion industry experience. Manufacturing experience.
