Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Demand Planning Executive to lead our demand planning function and ensure the accuracy and alignment of sales forecast across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Demand Planning team to achieve operational excellence.

• Drive forecast accuracy by ensuring alignment between commercial forecast, financial target, and historical sales trend.

• Build, maintain, and continuously improve robust forecasting models based on baseline data, seasonal trend, and demand pattern.

• Challenge and consolidate promotional and new product launch forecast provided by Category and Marketing teams.

• Conduct in-depth analysis of forecast accuracy, identify root causes of deviations, and implement corrective actions to enhance performance at category level.

• Organize and lead regular S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure consensus and effective decision-making.

• Monitor and report key changes in forecast, budget, and business strategy to senior management.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of demand planning process to support business growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering (Industrial or Mathematical), Management Information Systems (MIS), or Statistics, or in a related field.

• Minimum 8 years of experience , including at least 2 years in a managerial role within Demand Planning, preferably in an international FMCG or Retail environment.

• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and external teams, supported by exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

• Proactive and adaptable to changing business needs.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Excellent command of written and spoken English .

• Knowledge of SAP Planning Tools (F&R, UDF etc.) or related ERP systems is a strong plus.
