Job Description


We are seeking a talented and dedicated Demi Chef de Partie to join our all-day dining restaurant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in overseeing daily kitchen operations for the all-day dining restaurant
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to menu specifications and culinary standards
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices are followed at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during service hours
  • Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen inventory, placing orders as needed
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Adapt to the changing needs of an all-day dining operation, from breakfast through dinner service
  • Assist in implementing cost-control measures and reducing food waste
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts

Qualifications
  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in all-day dining operations
  • Strong knowledge of various cuisines and culinary techniques
  • Proficiency in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen equipment operation
  • Up-to-date food safety certification
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Team player with effective communication abilities
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food allergies
  • Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences
