Dental Assistant

Job Description

• Assist the dentist during all dental procedures by preparing the patient, arranging materials, and ensuring all tools are properly sterilized and disinfected.
• Work with digital X-ray equipment and take high-quality dental images when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records by entering treatment details into charts or the clinic’s database.
• Provide patients with postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Support the dentist in emergency situations by preparing necessary tools and assisting with quick response actions.
• Collect and note the patient’s medical and dental history before treatment.
• Manage clinic supplies by ordering materials, tracking deliveries, and ensuring proper storage.
• Clean, polish, and maintain portable dental devices and instruments.
• Prepare dental impressions and help with imaging of the patient’s chewing system.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or relevant training in dental assistance.
• At least 1 year of experience as a dental assistant is preferred.
