Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our patient-focused dental practice. In addition to traditional chairside assisting, our team focuses on airway health, jaw development, and facial growth to support long-term wellness.

This role includes assisting with routine dental care such as cleanings, restorative procedures, and preventive treatments, while also helping collect important diagnostic records like clinical photographs, digital scans, and measurements used to evaluate airway and growth patterns.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during routine dental procedures including restorative treatment and preventive care
• Support hygiene appointments and assist with cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and patient care
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms while following sterilization and infection control protocols
• Take dental X-rays and assist with digital scans and imaging
• Capture intraoral and extraoral photos, measurements, and diagnostic records
• Assist with documentation related to airway evaluation and growth development
• Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar EMR systems
• Help ensure a comfortable, positive experience for patients and families

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience required
• Strong knowledge of traditional dental assisting duties and hygiene support
• Experience with X-rays, sealants, fluoride treatments, and clinical charting
• Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental software preferred
• Experience with dental photography, scanners, or airway-focused records is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
