Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Surgical Dental Assistant located in our Washington, DC office. The Surgical Dental Assistant will assist in oral surgery procedures, provide dental care, manage infection control, and support overall dentistry tasks. Ensuring patient care and comfort before, during, and after procedures is a crucial part of this role. Additional responsibilities include preparing and sterilizing instruments, maintaining a sterile environment, and recording medical histories.

Qualifications

• Skills in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Patient Care
• Experience with Oral Surgery and Infection Control practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Certification in Dental Assisting is preferred
• Prior experience in a surgical dental setting is a plus
• High standards of professionalism and commitment to patient care
