Dental Assistant

We seek a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team of dental professionals. Our state-of-the-art and fee-for-service dental practice is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients, and we need someone who is committed to helping us achieve this goal.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Taking dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Taking dental impressions
• Prior use of Trios Scanner would be welcome
• Inputting treatment notes into Softdent, our dental software
• Sterilization of instruments
• Being a team player with a strong desire to continue to learn

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training. At least 2 years of experience is required
• Pennsylvania X-ray certification REQUIRED
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, sterilization methods, and materials
• Must have experience with 4 handed dentistry
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain a sterile and efficient clinical environment
