Dental Assistant Position:

Riverside Family Dental is seeking to hire an energetic and personable Dental Assistant for our office in Plymouth, NC. We are a small, rural practice with wonderful patients, a supportive team, and a doctor who truly cares about both patients and staff.

Our practice focuses on relationship-based care, and providing excellent patient care is our highest priority. Our team is very close and we truly operate like a work family. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
• Taking and processing dental x-rays
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards
• Providing chairside assistance during procedures
• Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring their comfort
• Updating patient charts and assisting with clinical documentation
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions
• Supporting a positive and welcoming patient experience
• Cross training within the office
