Dental Assistant

Duties
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain and update patient records
- Manage inventory of dental supplies

Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant
- and software systems
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation

We are seeking a skilled EXPERIENCED Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, be familiar with Dentrix software systems, and have a strong understanding of medical coding and billing procedures. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.

As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist during dental procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking and developing dental x-rays, providing chairside assistance, educating patients on oral hygiene, maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and managing inventory.

Requirements:

Minimum ONE YEAR experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
