DENTAL ASSISTANT

Overview
Join our non corporate dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a welcoming environment for patients while supporting the delivery of exceptional dental care. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and hygienists to provide efficient, high-quality dental services in a small but fast-paced, friendly setting. Dental radiology license or in process of obtaining one is a must. We are offering a 4-day work week (there is 1 half day Saturday/month too), company matched 401k, paid time off + paid holidays, and free dental.

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for procedures
• Assist dentists during a variety of dental treatments, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry
• Take and develop dental X-rays while maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions in a clear, friendly manner
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment by following infection control standards and OSHA regulations
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and assisting the dental receptionist with patient flow management

Skills

• Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry for efficient workflow
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry and pediatrics
• Experience operating dental equipment such as 3D scanners, X-ray machines, and other medical imaging tools

Pay: $26.00 per hour
