Dental Assistant

We are a fast pace Pediatric Dental office looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our work family! Must be a team player, with a positive attitude. Must work well with others and love children. Must be flexible and able to work late hours and (every other Saturday) .

Must have or able to get a BLS (CPR/AED) quickly.

Primary responsibilities:

Prepare examination and surgical rooms by setting up trays.
Take X-rays
Infection control and sterilizing instruments
Must be great with kids
Accountable for updating and maintaining patient forms and dental records
Perform daily dental tasks independently and communicate with the doctor
Assist in four handed dentistry for restorative and surgical procedures
Provide support in ordering, restocking and inventory maintenance
Promote dental educational materials as guided by the doctor
Follow office clinical and staff policies
Follow HIPAA and OSHA protocol as set up by the office
Willing to cross train with front desk duties
Must be able to lift 40lbs from time to time

Required

• Must be able to work at both locations (mostly League City location, but be able to work at our Deer Park location from time to time).
• Valid and up to date TSBDE RDA License
• Valid and up to date BLS/AED or able to get one quickly

NOT REQUIRED, but a plus.

• Bilingual (Spanish Speaking)
• Coronal Polishing and/or Sealant Certifications
• Nitrous Certification

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
