Dental Assistant | approx. 34 hours/week | Tooth Family Dentistry

Locations (2): Dublin, Ohio and Downtown, Columbus

Compensation: $22–$30/hour, commensurate with experience

Schedule (~34 hours):

• Mondays (Dublin): 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesdays (Downtown): 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Wednesday (Dublin): 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Thursdays (Dublin): 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

The Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. Our ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist in providing quality dental care to patients
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort during procedures
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment for procedures
• Take and process x-rays and perform other diagnostic tests as required
• Maintain patient records and manage appointments
• Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
• Crosstrain for the front desk

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years experience in dental assisting
• Completion of a dental assisting program from an accredited institution
• Valid CPR certification
• X-ray certification
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive and friendly attitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
