Job Overview
Our dental practice is looking for a full time experienced licensed dental assistant who is highly motivated, dependable, have good organizational skills, is detailed-oriented, pro-active, willing to learn, and will initiate tasks without instruction. Must have Massachusetts Dental Assisting License, and be CPR certified. Benefits include Health and Dental insurance, two weeks vacation per year, and retirement plan. Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Perform basic dental procedures under the supervision of the dentist.
• Maintain an aseptic technique to ensure patient safety.
• Utilize dental terminology effectively when communicating with patients and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance clinic efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting.
• Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures, including endodontics.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
