Dental Assistant

Job Summary
Looking for an experienced dental assistant who is looking to be a part of a welcoming and supportive team at Hasegawa Family and Esthetic Dentistry. We are a very modern, recently renovated and high end office. All our equipment is top of the line and you will be expected to use a perform at the highest level of dentistry. We do all aspects of dentistry, including implants, all on X, surgical extractions, ortho, root canals of all types, perio surgeries, etc. We are looking for only the best for this role and you will find every team member here is already exceptional at what they do. Responsibilities
All aspects of dental assisting are your responsibility and assumed to have knowledge in.

Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with experience in chairside assisting across various specialties such as prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatrics, oral surgery, implantology etc. Strong knowledge of Dentrix system. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Experience in taking X-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, with a solid understanding of radiation safety standards. Excellent understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform vital signs assessments and assist with medical imaging procedures confidently. Knowledge of dental coding practices related to dental procedures for accurate documentation and billing purposes.

Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
