Dental Assistant

We are growing our long tenured team! Nebraska Dental Center is seeking a positive, friendly and proactive Dental Assistant with a strong work ethic! We are a single dentist office with many long term employees. We believe in creating a work environment people want to be part of. We understand our greatest asset to our office and our patients are happy long-term employees, and we strive to make that a reality. We work Monday through Thursday, with employees expected to be present from 7:45am to 4:20pm.

The Dental Assistant will be responsible for:

• Providing a friendly, enjoyable atmosphere for patients and other staff
• Serving as a positive and helpful point of contact for current and prospective patients
• Assisting the doctor with procedures
• Answering patient questions
• Ensuring equipment is sterilized and rooms are set up appropriately
• Helping other staff as needed

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• X-Ray Certified (Preferred)
• Basic computer skills such as email, Microsoft Office, and text messaging systems (Required)
• Dental assisting experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• BLS/CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Coronal polishing (Preferred)
• Experience with Open Dental software (Preferred)
• Experience with Intra-Oral scanners (Preferred)
• Experience with CEREC (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
