Job Summary

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our dentists during clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining efficient daily operations. Your attention to detail and professionalism will help us deliver outstanding care to every patient, every time.

No prior dental experience is required—we provide comprehensive training.

All Dental Assistants must obtain their Radiation License within 90 days of hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and organizing supplies for each procedure.
• Assist dentists chairside during general dentistry and specialty procedures in prosthodontics and endodontics.
• Take and process dental X-rays using advanced imaging systems and 3D scanners while maintaining patient safety.
• Document patient records accurately using Curve Dental (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Maintain strict infection control and aseptic techniques throughout all procedures.
• Monitor patient comfort and vital signs when necessary.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene best practices.
• Support the front office team with scheduling, patient check-in/out, and answering general inquiries when needed.
• Collaborate in four-handed dentistry to ensure smooth, efficient workflows.
• Assist with dental procedure coding and insurance documentation for accurate billing.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with or willingness to learn Curve Dental (EHR).
• Strong understanding of or commitment to learning HIPAA compliance.
• Knowledge of dental radiography and 3D scanning technology (training provided).
• Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy in general dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive, growth-focused attitude.
