Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Assist dentists during various procedures such as restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials while maintaining strict aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), including 3D scans, ensuring accurate positioning and image quality for diagnosis.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in accordance with infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines while managing medical records efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant within a general dentistry
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control procedures, aseptic technique, and dental terminology.
• Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately; experience with medical imaging including 3D scanners is desirable.
• Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatrics.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively in a team environment supporting four-handed dentistry practices.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technology platforms such as electronic health records and dental software systems.
