Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with expertise in chairside support, patient care, and clinical procedures. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining efficient clinic operations. Duties
- Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics ensuring smooth workflow and patient safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic technique to uphold infection control standards.
- Take dental X-rays
- Manage electronic medical records accurately for documentation of medical history, dental procedures, and coding.
- Provide chairside assistance by handling dental terminology effectively and supporting the dentist with necessary tools and materials.
- Support administrative tasks including dental receptionist duties, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment at all times.
Requirements
- Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is required;
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
