Dental Assistant

Yarmosky Pediatric Dentistry is looking to hire a dental assistant. If you do not have any previous knowledge or experience, we are willing to train.

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a Pediatric Dental clinic so the ability to work with children is very rewarding. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records

Skills
- Proficiency in dental terminology
- Experience with Dentrix
- Ability to perform dental receptionist duties when needed
- Competence in taking vital signs and assisting with medical imaging
- Previous experience working in a dental clinic would be advantageous

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per year
