Dental Assistant -

Family Dental Arts of Florida is seeking a dependable and motivated Dental Assistant to become part of our patient-centered team in Margate. We are a growing private practice focused on delivering high-quality care in a welcoming, family-oriented environment.

We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting while providing excellent support to both patients and the doctor.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and prepare operatories for daily procedures
• Assist the doctor chairside using four-handed dentistry techniques
• Take and capture high-quality digital X-rays
• Sterilize instruments and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
• Accurately chart treatments and update patient records
• Utilize Open Dental software for clinical documentation and scheduling
• Provide patients with clear pre-op and post-op instructions
• Support front and back office workflow as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience
• Familiarity with dental procedures, materials, and instruments
• Experience with Open Dental is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude with patients
• Ability to stay organized and multitask efficiently
• Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Alternating Saturdays

Compensation & Perks

• Hourly pay ranging from $20 to $24, based on experience
