Dental Assistant

<Job Summary>

<Responsibilities>

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments using aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards.
• Preferred having at least one year of experience.
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7:45 am - 4:30 to 5 pm
• Assist dentists chairside during procedures such as restorations, extractions, and prosthodontics dentistry.
• Trios digital scanning
• Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort.
• Manage patient records accurately including updating medical histories and documenting treatment details.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions clearly and compassionately.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment adhering to infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines.

<Skills>

• Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with experience in chairside assisting especially in making temporary crowns and digital scanning.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
• Skilled in operating EMR systems. Fuse is what we currently used in office.
• Experience with taking X-ray and preferably experience with 3D scanners (Trios).
• Familiarity with common dental coding and documentation standards relevant to dental care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while supporting the whole team.
• Willing to be cross trained to assist with insurance verification and treatment plan estimates

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
