Duties

• Assist dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, implant placement, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments.
• Clean/Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilization protocols following infection control standards.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Manage patient records and charts using electronic medical record (EMR) system EZ2000/Open Dental
• Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and assisting with dental receptionist duties (if needed!)

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of general dentistry procedures.
• Infection control certification. Strong understanding of infection control practices, and sterilization procedures.
• Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including the dentist, hygienists, dental receptionists, and other assistants.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 per week

Work Location: In person
