Dental Assistant

We are a busy, patient-focused dental practice seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and reliable team player who is committed to providing exceptional care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures (e.g., restorative, oral surgery).
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection control guidelines.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Welcome and seat patients, making them feel comfortable and informed.
• Provide patients with post-operative instructions and education on proper oral hygiene.
• Maintain accurate patient records and chart information.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering dental supplies.
• Perform other related administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a state-approved dental assisting program.
• Current dental X-ray certification.
• CPR certification is required.
• 1-2 years of dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
