Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is ready for procedures.
• Assist dentists during a variety of treatments including general dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery.
• Take and develop dental X-rays while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
• Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, managing suction devices, and supporting patient comfort throughout procedures.
• Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions to promote ongoing dental wellness.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a dental environment with knowledge of dental terminology
• Strong understanding of infection control practices including aseptic technique and sterilization procedures.
• Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining patient safety
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members including dental receptionists.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
