Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant will be responsible for general clinic administrative work and maintenance, as well as completing lab work under the direction of the dentist. The Dental Assistant’s primary responsibility is to prepare the examination rooms for appointments by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the dentist. They also assist the dentist during their procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs throughout the appointment. Other duties and responsibilities include: At least 2 year of dental assistant experience.

• As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and providing high-quality patient care
• Taking digital X-rays and scans
• Assist dentist in treatment such as charting, restorations, crowns, bridges, veneers, root canals, extractions
• Dental assistant must be able fabricate temporary crowns, bridges, and veneers, fabricate bleaching trays, administer in-house bleaching, impressions in a timely manner, connect implants
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Be able to keep inventory of materials
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
• Experience with yomi
