Dental Assistant

Hello!!!!

We are looking for a new team member who will make the office efficient and pleasant for patients. Someone who is hard working, fast paced, and a team player. No experience is needed. If you do have experience that is a plus!! If you are interested in becoming a dental assistant we can discuss details over the interview.

Hours range: Mon-Thurs 7:00AM - 5:30PM & Fri: 7:45 AM-12 PM

Pay range will be between $15.00-$20.00 an hour.

Responsibilities of an assistant are not limited to but start at:

• Welcome patients in the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Maintain accurate patient records

• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred but not required
• Additional certification or training is an asset
