In this vital role, you will support dentists by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a smooth patient experience from check-in to check-out.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies, ensuring an aseptic environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry by providing chairside support and managing dental instruments efficiently.
- Take dental X-rays.
- Manage patient records by updating medical documentation, medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Support administrative tasks such as treatment planning and scheduling.
- Measure vital signs including blood pressure and pulse to monitor patient health before procedures and during IV sedation procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by following infection control guidelines and sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Other tasks might be added.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with dentistry.
Pay
- $22-$26/ hour - based on experience.
