Dental Assistant

Greater Michigan Oral Surgeons & Dental Implant Center is currently hiring a Surgical Assistant to support our expanding teams in Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland. As our practice grows, we are seeking reliable, enthusiastic individuals who demonstrate professionalism and excel in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Because patient safety is our highest priority, candidates must be able to stay composed in high-pressure situations and carefully follow all established emergency procedures when required.

Primary Duties

• Review and input patient medical histories
• Apply monitoring equipment and track vital signs
• Assist the surgeon during procedures such as extractions, biopsies, and dental implants by passing instruments, managing airways, and providing suction as necessary
• Accurately record procedures and maintain comprehensive patient documentation
• Capture radiographs and perform cone beam CT imaging
• Provide patients with pre-operative and post-operative care instructions
• Assist with additional direct and indirect patient care responsibilities

Qualifications

Previous dental assisting experience is not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to develop their skills and grow within our practice.

Schedule & Requirements

• Office hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Surgical assistants must be available to start as early as 6:30 a.m. to prepare for the day’s schedule
• Must be willing to travel between our Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland locations as needed
