Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all dental supplies are stocked and ready for procedures
• Assist dentist during a variety of pediatric dentistry
• Take and develop dental X-rays adhering to strict infection control protocols
• Manage patient records accurately ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide chairside assistance by taking vital signs, explaining procedures to patients, and maintaining a calm environment for pediatric patients
• Support infection control practices through aseptic techniques and proper handling of dental instruments and materials
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist and managing medical documentation and coding for insurance purposes

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Proficiency in
• Familiarity with infection control standards, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures
• Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining patient safety
• Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with children is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures and foster patient trust
• Bilingual
