Duties

- Four handed chairside assisting during dental procedures

- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and maintain equipment

- Take digital dental x-rays

- Prepare and maintain dental materials and all clinical supply inventory

- Educate patients on post-operative care

- Monitor Lab Cases

- Cross train for all office duties

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

-Chairside assisting experience or completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred

- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols

-Ability to multitask and prioritize duties

- Understanding and compliance of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology

- Experience with Dentrix and Dexis dental software preferred

- Familiarity with dental coding and billing practices preferred but not required

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients, and maintaining a clean and sterile environment. Your attention to detail, knowledge of dental procedures, and ability to effectively communicate with patients will contribute to the success of our dental practice.
