Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for each appointment. Take dental X-rays, Intra oral photos, using advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners, adhering to strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Manage patient records efficiently using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like opendental to ensure accurate documentation of medical and dental histories. Provide chairside assistance by handling dental terminology with confidence, supporting procedures with precision and professionalism. Monitor vital signs and assist in pediatric dentistry by creating a friendly environment for young patients. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting. Experience working with EMR systems such as Open Dental for managing medical documentation and records. Experience with Intraoral photos, 3D canning techniques, Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and anatomy relevant to dental procedures. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding to accurately document treatments. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners safely and effectively. Excellent communication skills as a dental receptionist when coordinating appointments or explaining procedures to patients. Join us in making a difference through compassionate care!
