Dental Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented hygiene Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will support the dentist during patient procedures and perform various tasks to ensure efficient dental operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training.
• X-ray certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.
• Assist with front office tasks such as billing and insurance claims processing.
