Our privately owned, and managed dental practice in Central Point, OR, is seeking a friendly and energetic Dental Assistant to help us care for our wonderful patients. How You’ll Help Our Patients Live Longer, Happier Lives:

• Ensure patients are comfortable in the dental chair and properly prepared for treatment.
• Work chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Hand instruments and materials to dentists during procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Ensure the dental clinic environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.

Who We’re Looking For:

Availability:

• Able to work shifts on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and some Saturdays, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. (no Sundays). Please apply only if you meet this availability.

Licensure/Certification:

• Oregon Radiology or EFDA certificate OR currently in the process of completing requirements.

• Ability to multitask while effectively managing time and priorities.

• Dependable, demonstrating reliability and a high level of professionalism.

Preferred, but not required:

• At least 1 year of experience as a dental assistant.
• Working knowledge of Open Dental.
