Our privately owned, and managed dental practice in Central Point, OR, is seeking a friendly and energetic Dental Assistant to help us care for our wonderful patients. How You’ll Help Our Patients Live Longer, Happier Lives:
- Ensure patients are comfortable in the dental chair and properly prepared for treatment.
- Work chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Take dental X-rays.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
- Hand instruments and materials to dentists during procedures.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Ensure the dental clinic environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Who We’re Looking For:
Availability:
- Able to work shifts on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and some Saturdays, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. (no Sundays). Please apply only if you meet this availability.
Licensure/Certification:
- Oregon Radiology or EFDA certificate OR currently in the process of completing requirements.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A willingness and ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to multitask while effectively managing time and priorities.
- Self-starter with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Dependable, demonstrating reliability and a high level of professionalism.
Preferred, but not required:
- At least 1 year of experience as a dental assistant.
- Working knowledge of Open Dental.
