Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced/dedicated Dental Assistant with at least 5 yrs of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications
- Knowledge of dental terminology, general dentistry, and dental terminology
- Familiarity with endodontics, infection control, and x-ray procedures, implant procedures
- Experience with Dentrix software is a plus
- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques
- Certification in dental assisting is preferred

- Must be able to mulit-task

- Work independently

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
