Job description:
Smile Source Spokane is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our providers using advanced dental techniques, and maintaining a safe, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every patient

Hours are:

• Part-time 2-3 days
• Full-time hours 4-5 days

What We Offer

What You’ll Do

• Assist dentists during procedures to ensure efficient workflow.
• Prepare and maintain the treatment area for patient procedures.
• Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Take X-rays and perform necessary diagnostic imaging.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain sterilization protocols and infection control measures.
• Support pediatric dentistry practices as needed.
• Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experiences.

Qualifications:

· Required- 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant.

· Proficiency in EMR systems, Dentrix

· Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices.

· Ability to take X-rays and perform chairside assisting duties effectively.

· Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care.

· Certification in dental assisting is preferred.
