Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant plays a key role in supporting our mobile dental clinics. Including assisting hygienists chairside, preparing and organizing portable equipment, maintaining sterilization and infection-control standards, entering clinical information into the patients chart and managing patient flow. This position requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to adapt to a mobile clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists during mobile dental clinics
• Set up, break down, and transport portable dental equipment
• Sterilize instruments and maintain compliance with infection-control protocols
• Keep the clinical area organized, clean, and properly stocked
• Assist with patient check-in and basic documentation
• Provide courteous, professional customer service
• Travel with the dental team to schools, facilities, and community sites

Credentials

• Prior dental or healthcare experience preferred; training available for the right candidate
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are essential, able to travel within the state
• Ability to lift and move portable equipment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Background check, clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Up to date on Immunizations
• Flexible Schedule (Days off may rotate- Hours vary)

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
