Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are starting their dental career and are eager to learn and grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms and instruments
• Take digital dental X-rays (as permitted by certification)
• Provide chairside assistance and ensure patient comfort
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
• Support daily clinical operations and maintain organization

Requirements:

• X-ray certification (REQUIRED)
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous dental assisting experience (a plus, but not required)
• Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix Ascend is a plus)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
