Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dental professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, preparing treatment rooms, maintaining patient records, and providing exceptional chair-side assistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
• Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
• Take dental x-rays, impressions, and other diagnostic records.
• Maintain and organize patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Educate patients on dental procedures and post-operative care.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, addressing their concerns and questions.
• Assist with scheduling and managing appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the dental practice's smooth operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Dental Assistant experience required.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program a plus.
• X-ray certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
• Familiarity with dental software and technology.
